Rue Georges Raeymaekers 11 1030 Schaerbeek
This 1913-built but recently (2015) renovated, art-deco-style, row house is located on the border of Schaerbeek/Evere in Brussels, close to the European institutions and the NATO buildings as well of the center of Brussels but still only a few minutes walk away from one of Brussels most beautiful parks : Josaphat.
The extensive renovation has been carried out with great respect for the original features of the house as well of modern comfort and results in three very beautiful airy and light rooms and welcoming common areas.
The spacious bedroom, on second floor of the house is fully furnished, overlooks the garden. The room is provided with 160cm-wide double bed and has been embellished with a comfortable reading corner, nice carpets on the parquet floors and tasteful decoration.
The common areas, shared with one, sometimes two other persons, are composed of a fully furnished brand new kitchen, a bathroom with showering-bathtub, a vintage sink and a toilet - an extra separate toilet is also to be found on the first floor and a lovely dining-seating room with balcony.
The house is served by two trams: No. 55 (3 min. walk) that goes directly to the city center (Place de Brouckere, Grand Place, Muntplein, Bourse) and No. 7 (5 min. walk) that circumvents the city via Meiser, Diamant, Montgomery, ULB, VUB and Avenue Louise.
Besides those two lines the nearby busses will bring you about anywhere else in town, here are just a few examples : No. 64 goes to Maalbeek (European Commission & Council), Place Luxembourg/European Parliament, Trone, Porte de Namur and No. 65 goes to NATO in 10 minutes, or to Madou/Gare Central.
And last but not least, the airports are never far away, you can rejoin Brussels National Airport in 10 minutes by car or 20 to 30 minutes by bus depending on traffic. Brussels south is also only an hour drive of the house.

Schaerbeek is the second most populous commune of the Brussels-Capital Region after the City of Brussels and the seventh largest by population in Belgium. Schaerbeek’s different neighbourhoods are highly diverse in sociological terms.Located halfway between the international centres of NATO and the European Union, Schaerbeek is a fast-moving commune very much on the up.
